Security Protocol Notice
Skip-the-line access applies specifically to the ticket purchase line only. To ensure the preservation of the UNESCO World Heritage site and visitor safety, all guests must pass through mandatory security screening. Please note that security queues are managed by site authorities and cannot be bypassed.

Before you book
- You book a date, not a time. On that date you join one of the timed entry slots between 09:30 and 16:00 — the palace is closed on Tuesdays.
- The app needs a connection to download, but none to use once it is on your phone. Install it before you set out.
- Skipping the ticket line does not skip the security check, which is mandatory and can take up to 30 minutes in high season.
- A host takes you in and points you the right way. Guiding inside the palace is the audio guide, not a person.
- Allow around 2 hours 30 minutes for the visit.
