Distance Sales Agreement
This agreement is concluded between the Buyer and the Seller when an order is placed on this site, in accordance with Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts. A copy is available at any time on this page, and the details of your own order are in your confirmation email.
1. The parties
Seller: KFT Turizm ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi. TÜRSAB licence: 13342. Email: [email protected].
Buyer: the person whose name, address and contact details are given at checkout and recorded on the order.
2. Subject
The subject of this agreement is the sale of the admission product described on the order — its type, date, entry window, quantity and price — and the rights and obligations of the parties under Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts.
3. Product and price
The ticket type, the number of tickets, the unit price and the total payable, including all taxes, are those shown on the order summary at the moment of payment and repeated in the confirmation email. There is no separate delivery charge: the ticket is handed over in person at the meeting point.
4. Payment and delivery
Payment is made by card at the time of ordering, through the bank’s 3-D Secure infrastructure. Prices are quoted in euro and charged in Turkish lira at the rate applied at the moment of sale, which is recorded on the order.
The order confirmation is sent to the Buyer’s email address on payment. The ticket itself is handed over in person, on the day of the visit, at a meeting point very close to the museum; the address of that meeting point, the meeting time and directions are stated in the confirmation. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to give a working email address, to check the spam folder before contacting us, and to be at the meeting point at the stated time.
5. Right of withdrawal
Under Article 15(1)(g) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for accommodation, transport, car rental, catering and leisure services that are to be performed on a specific date or in a specific period. A dated museum admission falls within that exception, and the Buyer accepts this before placing the order.
Independently of the law, the Seller grants free cancellation up to 24 hours before the entry time, on the terms set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. Cancellation and refund
The Cancellation & Refund Policy on this site forms an integral part of this agreement. Refunds are made to the card used for payment, and instructed within 14 days of the cancellation being accepted.
7. Force majeure
Where performance becomes impossible for reasons outside the Seller’s control — including closure of the museum by the authorities, natural disaster, or a general suspension of services — the Seller shall inform the Buyer within three days and refund the full amount, or offer an alternative date at the Buyer’s choice.
8. Disputes
Complaints and objections may be brought before the District or Provincial Consumer Arbitration Committee, or the Consumer Court, at the Buyer’s place of residence or where the transaction took place, up to the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade.
9. Acceptance
By confirming the order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and understood the preliminary information and this agreement, and accepts them electronically. The Seller retains a record of that acceptance with the order.
