Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of this website and any ticket you buy through it. By placing an order you accept them. They sit alongside the Distance Sales Agreement, which is the contract for the individual sale and which prevails over these terms wherever the two differ.

1. Who you are contracting with

The seller is KFT Turizm ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, whose registered details are on the Seller & Company Information page. This site is an independent booking platform. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the Topkapi Palace Museum or the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

2. What a booking is

A booking is a reservation for admission on a date and, where the product is timed, in a chosen entry window. It is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation with a booking reference. Until payment completes, nothing is reserved.

The ticket itself is issued by the supplier and is handed to you in person, on the day of your visit, at a meeting point very close to the museum. The address of that meeting point, the time and directions are given in our order confirmation. Bring the confirmation with you, together with anything the ticket page lists under what to bring.

3. What is included

What each ticket includes and excludes is set out on its own page and in your confirmation. Read it before booking: the Imperial Harem and the Hagia Irene Museum need their own tickets, and skip-the-line entry applies to the ticket queue only — the security screening is run by the site authorities, is mandatory for everybody, and cannot be bypassed.

4. Your obligations

  • Give a correct email address and name at checkout. A ticket sent to a mistyped address cannot be recovered by us.
  • Arrive within your entry window, allowing time for the security queue.
  • Carry identification where a reduced or free admission is claimed — a child under seven is admitted free only on presentation of their passport.
  • Follow the museum’s own rules of entry while inside.

5. Prices and currency

Prices are shown in euro, inclusive of applicable taxes, and are charged in Turkish lira at the rate applied at the moment of sale. Prices can change at any time before an order is placed; the price shown at the moment you pay is the price of your booking.

6. Cancellation

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in full in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Things outside our control

The museum may close a section, restrict access, or close entirely for restoration, state occasions, weather, security or public holidays, sometimes without warning. Where that prevents you from using a booking, the Cancellation & Refund Policy applies. We are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs arranged around a visit.

8. Intellectual property

The text, photography and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be copied or republished without written consent.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law. Consumer disputes may be brought before the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts described on the Contact page.

This English text is a translation provided for convenience. Where Turkish law governs the document, the Turkish version is the operative one. Questions about any of these documents can be sent to the address on the Contact page.
